Annual Domestic Violence Vigil hosted by S.A.F.E. House

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and S.A.F.E. House is inviting the community to its annual Domestic Violence Vigil on Wednesday, October 21 at 6 p.m. at Proctor Judicial Park in Henderson. This candlelight vigil is a time to remember the men, women, and children whose lives were lost to domestic violence, and to stand with survivors as a community. Through shared poetry, personal testimonies, and quiet connection, attendees will honor those we’ve lost, uplift those still healing, and raise awareness about the realities domestic violence survivors face every day.   All are welcome to attend and bring a light to carry.      S.A.F.E. House is a community based non-profit organization committed to Stop Abuse in the Family Environment by providing a comprehensive approach to end domestic violence that includes crisis intervention, safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, and community education.
