World Breastfeeding Awareness Month August 2024 There will be giveaways, activities, food, refreshments, and resources. You are free to participate in all activities and events. List of Events: Las Vegas Latch On – Saturday 8-3-24 10 am – 12 pm West Charleston Library Join us during World Breastfeeding Month in setting a new record for the most women in southern Nevada breastfeeding, expressing, etc., simultaneously. You can be included in the latch count by latching a child or children, using a supplemental nursing system or nipple shield, expressing milk (hand or pump), or feeding your child breastmilk via an alternative method. A Zoom option will be available. Las Vegas Milk Lounge – Wednesday 8-7-24, 11 am – 12 pm Health Living Institute. Indigenous Milk Medicine week 8-8-14: Honor the diversity of Native breastfeeding experiences, increase support and resources, and promote healing and wellness.
