PFAS are a family of man-made chemicals that have been used in manufacturing everything from apparel to cosmetics to food packaging. Why should CRE developers care about PFAS, also called “forever chemicals”? Because any facility that has used or intends to use PFAS – including many industrial properties – will need to comply with existing and imminent federal and state PFAS regulations.
