Appraisal Summit 2026

The 18th annual Appraisal Summit takes place October 31–November 3, 2026, at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Co-hosted by the National Association of Appraisers and Appraiser eLearning, the meeting serves real estate appraisers, trainees, supervisors and businesses that support valuation work. Its program combines professional education, industry discussion, technology demonstrations, exhibits and networking.
The official event dates include preconference activity on October 31 and November 1, followed by the principal conference sessions on November 2 and 3. This distinction is important because the meeting includes several registration categories and separately priced classes. The broader date range describes the full event, while individual attendees’ schedules depend on the sessions and admission options they select.
The preliminary main program addresses changes to appraisal reporting, field technology, regulation and practice management. Sessions examine implementation of UAD 3.6, mobile approaches to fieldwork, non-lending assignments and AI in appraisal practice. Other discussions cover depreciation in the cost approach, lender-appraiser relationships, federal housing agencies, legal issues and regulatory complaints. The published schedule names contributors from appraisal businesses, technology providers, professional organizations and housing-finance institutions.
Preconference options include a course on the new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report, a UAD 3.6 deep dive and desktop and hybrid appraisal education. The weekend also includes technology demonstrations, a state-organization leadership meeting and trainee/supervisor programming. Some of those activities have separate fees, while the schedule identifies free admission for selected leadership and trainee sessions. An opening reception provides a transition into the main conference.
The organizers describe the main conference as being submitted for 14 hours of appraiser continuing education. Attendance requirements and state approvals are separate considerations from simply registering for the event. Conference packages, daily attendance, trainee options and guest passes carry different access rights; for example, the guest category does not include the educational sessions. The event therefore combines a professional meeting with structured education rather than offering one uniform admission experience.
History in Las Vegas
The organizers trace the Appraisal Summit to 2009, when it was established to support national exchange among working appraisers, broaden access to industry perspectives and connect attendees with appraisal-service exhibitors. Its archive lists annual editions and identifies the 2020 gathering as virtual. That history describes the series as a whole and does not by itself establish a Las Vegas location for every edition.
A recent local edition is documented in Appraiser eLearning’s announcement for September 27–30, 2025, at Planet Hollywood. The 2026 meeting continues at that property, with a later autumn date range and a program centered on current reporting, technology and practice issues. The co-hosts’ professional-association and education roles remain central to the event’s format.
Location
Planet Hollywood is at 3667 South Las Vegas Boulevard on the central Strip. The official summit site identifies the resort as the venue for the full meeting. Its conference setting supports the combination of presentations, technology demonstrations, exhibitor conversations and scheduled networking described by the organizers. Actual session times and room arrangements follow the published program, which is labeled preliminary. Across the four dates, the summit provides a forum for appraisal professionals to compare working methods, discuss changes affecting valuation practice and maintain connections beyond their individual assignments.
