Masonry Station: provide students with bricks and mortar and show them how to build a simple wall or planter. Painting: provide a small piece of wood or other materials and let students practice painting techniques Flooring: set up a small section of flooring and teach students how to install it. Landscaping: provide small plants\, seeds\, flowers and let students practice planting them. Blueprint reading: provide basic blueprints and teach students how to read and interpret them. Equipment operation simulation: use simulators to teach students how to operate heavy equipment. Construction math games: create games that help students understand basic math concepts related to construction such as calculating square footage or estimating the amount of material needed for a project. Building Bridges: challenge students to work in teams to design and construct a bridge using materials such as toothpicks\, popsicle sticks and glue. Equipment demos: allow students to watch equipment in action and demonstrate how it is used on job sites.
